On behalf of the Scientific Committee of the EuroCow 2010 http://www.ideg.es/page.php?id=787), we are pleased to announce that the Prof. Dr. Orhan Altan, President of the ISPRS, will deliver the keynote address .

 

We are also pleased to announce that Eija Honkavaara (Finnish Geodetic Institute, Finland) and Roman Arbiol ( Institut Cartogràfic de Catalunya, Spain ) will hold a special session on the EuroSDR project: “Radiometric Aspects of Digital Photogrammetric Images”

 

Finally, we remind you that the deadline for abstracts reception is October 4, 2009. You can send your abstracts to eurocow@ideg.es.

 

The workshop is concerned with recent advances in the areas of Sensor Calibration and Orientation and is not restricted to the traditional geometrical aspects. The Scientific Committee calls for the submission of quality papers with respect to the following interest areas:

 

- Orientation and calibration of sensors (geometric and radiometric)

- Orientation and calibration of multi-sensor systems

- Standardization, certification and operational performance

- GNSS navigation and positioning

- INS/GNSS positioning, velocity and attitude determination

- Sensor navigation and orientation in difficult environments

The workshop is organized by the Institute of Geomatics on behalf of the EuroSDR (European Spatial Data Research) Commission I and, for the 2010 edition, also on behalf of the ISPRS (International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing) Working Group 1.5: “Integrated Systems for Sensor Georeferencing and Navigation”.

The meeting will be held at the Institute of Geomatics, located in the Mediterranean Technology Park (PMT), Castelldefels ( 20 Km South from downtown Barcelona, 7km South from Barcelona International Airport) The website contains detailed information about the Workshop.
